This section explains how to deal with errors while updating Plexum files and database engine.

ERROR:

Please check and set permissions on the following directories and files to Read and Write (Unix/Linux 0777) permissions and re-run the update service.

SOLUTION:

Change the permissions on the file or files listed to 0777.  If you are still getting the same permissions error or the file or files listed are not in the location listed, try changing the permissions on the leading folder, see example below.

Scenario 1: If file exist.

File: /home/server/plexum/phpapi/functions/test.php

Change permissions on test.php to 0777 and if that didn't work, change permissions on the leading folders (e.g. /functions) and so on.

Scenario 2: If file do not exist.

File: /home/server/plexum/phpapi/functions/test.php

Change permissions on the leading folders (e.g. /functions) and so on.

Note: changing files and folders permissions required an FTP or Shell access to your server and some knowledge on working with files and folders permissions setting.
