Content Block Editor:

 

Create blocks of HTML code to the added to any replicated page. Each content block is associated with a TAG (example: &PTAG_HEADER&).

 

This great time-saving tool let's you build modular HTML components for replicated websites.

 

Each block has HTML code that produces a certain result when a web page is viewed on the Internet. Content blocks can be used for header/footers, company news, navigation menus, contact information...etc.

 

In this section there is two types of content blocks;

 

1. custom content blocks - blocks of content designed by you.

 

2. System blocks - Certain task(s) that is performed by Plexum will result in a outcome which is displayed in the screen. The system blocks allow you to customize what is being displayed.

 

 

Any Content Block you add will be placed in the Custom Block section (top). Click Add a New Content Block to add block of content.

 

 

When adding content Plexum makes available useful tags ; Template Link Tags , User Field Tags , and System Tags .

 

 

Block name: Enter name of Content Block. (i.e. Company News)

Website: Select to assign Content Block to replicated website.

Block tag: Enter block tag name. (i.e. compnews)

 

Design the desired look and feel of your content block within the WYSIWYG editor.

 

 

Click SAVE ::. button to save changes and return to main Content Block area.

 

Click SAVE & Continue ::. button to save changes and remain in the current Content Block editing area.

 

Click DELETE ::. button to completely remove content block and tags .

 

To call this Content Block simply type &PTAG_COMPNEWS& in desired area of the replicated web page.
